Guido Jansen

Dramaturgist, Advisor

Guido Jansen is a researcher, teacher and dramaturg focussed on performances that cross borders between media. Performance and technology, interaction and (video)gamedramaturgy are topics close to his heart. 

Currently he is a teacher at the Utrecht School for the Arts (HKU) for Interactive Performance Design. For ArtEZ Arnhem, Jansen teaches a course of Dramaturgy and Digital Performance. Previously he also taught at the Utrecht Univerisity for Media and Culture Studies. 

As a dramaturg, Jansen works with Emke Idema's upcoming performance FOREST. He also advises in the dramaturgic research of Panama Pictures.

Jansen also works as a coordinator between the fields of performing arts and digital media. He is the coordinator of the international programmes of SPRING Academy and the coordinator of the Professionals Program of IMPAKT Festival. 
Currently he is the project leader the archiefdoorlichtingtraject that DEN, Kennisinstituut en Digitalisering started in 2020.
